Aim

The aim of the Pakistan Political Science Review (PPSR) is to provide a high-quality forum for the publication of original research on all aspects of Pakistani politics. The journal seeks to promote scholarly understanding of Pakistan's political system, its institutions, and its political actors. The PPSR also seeks to encourage comparative research on Pakistan and other countries in the region.

Scope

The PPSR welcomes submissions on a wide range of topics in political science, including:

  • Comparative politics
  • International relations
  • Political theory
  • Political economy
  • Public administration
  • Political methodology
  • Pakistani politics

The journal is particularly interested in submissions that address the following themes:

  • The dynamics of democracy and authoritarianism in Pakistan
  • The role of Islam in Pakistani politics
  • The impact of military rule on Pakistan's political development
  • The relationship between Pakistan and its neighbors
  • The challenges of governance in Pakistan

The PPSR is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original research articles, book reviews, and essays. All submissions are subject to a rigorous double-blind review process.
