Abstract

This study compares the impact of Local Government Acts in the provinces of Sindh and Baluchistan from 2010 to the present. The purpose of the research is to evaluate the effectiveness and outcomes of the various acts in promoting decentralization, citizen participation, and service delivery. The paper seeks to identify similarities and disparities in their impact on governance, social development, and local empowerment by examining the historical context and implementation of these acts. The study employs a comprehensive literature review and empirical data to provide insights into the strengths and weaknesses of both regions' local government systems. The study's findings can help inform policymaking and improve our understanding of the complexities surrounding decentralization in Pakistan.
